ABOUT US
MET Sculptures was started by Philip Maxwell, an Electrical Engineer and came about by accident, when, whilst
working on a robot design he deicded to make a small dragon sculpture as a present for a relative. This gradually led onto
making more and more sculptures and we’ve been making them ever since.
We make a variety of sculptures and art for both indoor and outdoor display along with other architectural metalwork,
some even including automation and lighting thanks to our Electrical Engineering background.
On the following pages there are samples of some of the items we’ve made. A number of these also link to separate
pages showing them bing made. (click on the icon).
We can reproduce past sculptures if you’re interested or make virtually anything you have in mind,.
If you’d like a sculpture making please contact us to discuss what you’re interested in or send us some pictures of what
your thinking of.
Most sculptures shown on these pages can be easily scaled up and poses and finishes changed to suit your requirements.
All of our metal sculptures are fabricated by hand from a mixture of sheet, tube and box section, and, wherever possible
we utilise recycled scrap materials.
We can make sculptures in a variety of metals such as Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium and occasionally include
Copper and Brass components as well as salvaged wooden parts including tree stumps and branches and driftwood.
Depending on the design and materials used, we can give sculptures a variety of finishes including highly polished or
brushed effect, painted, powder coated, clear lacquered, electroplated or rusted coatings.
We have a number of sculptures always for sale via Etsy and Ebay but for something unique please contact us direct.
