BUTTERFLY (LARGE)
This sculpture was one of our early attempts, built for indoor display as it’s
quite delicate, made to be either freestanding or to hang supported by wire.
The body is made from multiple pieces of sheet mild steel of various
thicknesses hand bent, filed, sanded and hammered into shape then welded
together. The wings are plasma cut from mild steel sheets, galvanised and
finished in metallic chrome effect paint
The legs were made from stainless steel bar which along with the body is
finished with black rubberised paint, the eyes are polished stainless steel.
