COAT OF ARMS

This shield was made based on a familty coat of arms. The picture was broken down into sections and different pieces cut out of varying thicknesses of sheet steel to give the picture some depth with all parts rear welded to the base shield layer so the welds are hidden. The shield was fitted with mounting brackets to allow hanging on the wall, this shield was made to mount over an existing reproduction sword. Finish is brushed bare steel clear waxed.  A metal scroll was added with the name cut out and the backing painted black. We can produce equivalent shields or family crests from supplied pictures in any size in either steel or other metals such as Aluminium, Copper, Brass, Stainless Steel or a  combination of more than one metal in a variety of finishes such as brushed or polished and lacquered, waxed or painted or left bare to finish yourself.
