VELOCIRAPTOR (LARGE)
This sculpture is loosely based on various photographs of museum pieces of
the Velociraptor and Deinosaurus Dinosaurs although much larger than life size.
The body is made from multiple pieces of sheet mild steel of various thicknesses
and reclaimed metal parts which have been hand bent, filed, sanded and
hammered into shape then welded together onto the tubular spine section
The legs were made from thicker steel pipe to aide with balance, the feet have
threaded holes to allow bolting to a base plinth or for attaching threaded rod so
it can be installed on a heavy base.
Finished in zinc galvanised paint.
