KINGFISHER
This was made for indoor display and is
freestanding.
It was created from hundreds of pieces,
all separately shaped and fixed to the
body, the wings are made of multiple
layers of thin sheet metal to give the
impression of feathers.
We chose to finish this in a blend of
metallic paints over a galvanised base-
coat which reflects the light differently
across the whole body.
