ARCHELON SKELETON
This sculpture is based on museum pieces of the Archelon Ischyrus a prehistoric ancestor of the Sea Turtle
that lived during the Cretaceous period which grew upto 4.6 meters long and weighed upto 3.2 tons.
The sculpture shown in the pictures during construction is 1 meter in length made frrom mild steel sheet
and tube.
This model has been made for internal display mounting directly on a wall but could also be suspended by
wire rope or placed on a stand.
This could easily be reproduced in other metals and finishes for outdoor display and enlarged if required.
