EUROPEAN DRAGON
This was the first piece we made, it originally started as a small dragon head bust but eventually ended up at 9ft
tall. As the first piece, this was made from hundreds of pieces of sheet mild steel on a galvanised tube wireframe
with all parts spray galvanised and finally painted in a Copper effect.
The statue is positioned at the steps to a large colonial style wooden bridge we’d made a few years previously and
is lit at night by colour changing LED floodlights, we also incorporated LED lighting within the eyes and flickering
flame effect lights in the mouth to give the impression of flames
